I'm using this with my biology class. I have all three of his books and use them and the three apps often with my students. I can't wait for the app to come out. I enjoy reading it because it demonstrates new ways to look at atoms and molecules. And his sense of humor makes reading fun.
I ordered this book, and the rest of the set of three, over the last couple of years, as a gift for my adult son, and he loves them all. He is interested in many subjects of science, especially chemistry. His description of the books are:: "Great pictures, easy to read and understand". He read them all from cover to cover.
Useful and succinct. Doesn't format well on the kindle. Some of the molecular drawings are simplified in a way that makes them confusing for novice learners. The personalization of the scientific process makes the material more accessible.

This book is beautiful. Whether it is being read or displayed, it is definitely a talking point. With full color pictures and interesting information, the chemistry lover in my household was ecstatic to receive it as a gift.
