I love these books. I've been buying them for my son since they started. We read them together, talk about them, discuss the lessons to be learned from each story - and each God. We may have to wait a year between books, but the wait is always worth it. When "Artemis" showed up my son texted me at work, asking if he could read it before I got home - which is a pretty good literary excitement coming from a 14 year old. He also goes back to re-read them, getting new angle each time. Seriously - great books.
Probably a great book, but for some reason this is the only one in the series that can’t be read on apple’s kindle apps. Tried to work with tech support about it, but shrug....Update - Between me contacting the author, Amazon and the Publisher, this has been worked out, so I put it back to 5 stars (where it also belonged!)Second Update - Yup, still does not work on the iPad despite what Amazon publishes on their website, back to 1 star
My fifth grader loves this series. They are really good - and when you get them all the binding makes a picture of Medusa.
As always, George O'Connor delivers a brilliant rendition of the classic stories peppering Greek Myth. Few are as talented in art as he and fewer still can match his love and devotion to the original superhero stories - thankfully, he brings these both to the table.
If you're child is a huge fan of Greek mythology, this is a great book. In fact, this is a great series of books. Daughter loved it and re-reads it all the time.
These are my favorite graphic novels. They have fantastic visuals and the stories capture the essence of each god or goddess. Great for all lovers of Greek mythology.

Despite the description, this ebook does not download onto the Kindle app for iPad. All of the other Olympian books work fine on the iPad except for this one. Do not buy this in Kindle format if you intend to read on your iPad.
